Could the use of Hybrid classes be more effective? And what are the benefits of hybrid learning?

Benefits of Hybrid Learning:

•Students manage their own time to meet the course due dates. Hybrid classes allow for students to receive more flexible schedules and can handle outside of class responsibilities such as a job, or taking care of a relative. Not all students have the privilege of just focusing on school while in college, so hybrid classes could be the new norm for students dealing with demanding lifestyles. This also makes college much more accessible for people who might have not had the opportunity or resources prior to hybrid learning.

•Hybrid learning allows for more customization of classes. If students can decide for themselves which courses they want in-person, online, and hybrid, they are more likely to be successful in their time at college. These customizations make it possible for students to juggle the stress of college as well as outside factors.

•Hybrid classes facilitate an all-around better learning experience for students. Hybrid learning allows for students to engage in interpersonal relationships with peers and teachers but can also reap the benefits of an online course.  Students get to meet classmates and teachers in person. This also means the learning does not stop when you leave the classroom, students can continue their studies on their own time. Hybrid learning has proven to provide deeper and more effective learning, according to “Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning,” by the US Department of Education, this research study has over a thousand studies measuring how effective online, hybrid, and in-person learning is. The results concluded that students find hybrid learning to be “the most effective form of learning.”
