The new Ferrari SF90 Stradale: the next evolution of Supercars?

The all new Ferrari SF90 Stradale is a promising start towards hybrid vehicles in the high end sports car world. This almost 630,000 dollar car is something you won't find on most streets and definitely won't act like any other hybrid you see on the road. Its twin turbocharged eight cylinder engine producing 769 horsepower is nothing to sneeze at. However, with the additional electric motor producing 217 more horsepower, it brings the car to 986 horsepower which is easily one of the most powerful cars existing on the market. Additionally, this is the first Ferrari to have all wheel drive, as all previous models were exclusively rear wheel drive. This means the car has even better traction when launching from a complete stop. One interesting fact is that the SF90 name is actually based off the 2019 Ferrari F1 car which also happens to contain a hybrid system.
If you're planning on purchasing this car, expenses from low fuel economy is probably not much of an issue to you. However, its exciting to know this this car can produce up to a 51 MPGe utilizing both its electric and gas motors. Different drive modes in the car allows it to save or burn fuel/energy at different rates so if you want to save fuel, you can.
Its important to note that other companies have made hybrid high-end sports cars in the past, but the announcement of the SF90 proves that more companies are jumping on the trend. From the legendary McLaren P1 hybrid hypercar to the unsuccessful BMW i8 shows how the success of sporty hybrid cars may vary wildly, and it is important to keep both performance and economy in mind. The SF90 Stradale is already tested to be a very fast and well-built car, with car reviewers praising the car. This Ferrari will likely be regarded as a legendary and memorable vehicle later down the line.
