Steams NextFest

Steam's Next Fest will be coming to a close this coming Tuesday, if you have not already found time to check out some of the new games being released now would be a good time. With 100s of game demos being available and only two days left you likely wont have time to make a dent in them So here is a list of Five of the most downloaded demos of the event as well as two of my personal favorites:

1. Naraka: Bladepoint
   A Chinese 60 player battle-royale with an emphasis on fierce melee combat.
2. Lawn Mowing Simulator
   This one doesn't need much explanation, it is a simulation game where you mow lawns and has somehow made it to the second most downloaded game of the event.
3. The Immortal Mayor
   A Chinese city builder where you play as a god who influences the growth and development of your land and the people on it.
4. My Time at Sandrock
   A sandbox Role Playing Game(RPG) with an emphasis on player creativity. Players must build machines to help recover the local economy
5. Terra Nil
   A strategy puzzle game where the player must terraform a wasteland planet into an ecological paradise.

My Top 2 Honorable Mentions:

1. Death Trash
   A game very much akin to early RPG's like Fallout 1 and 2, just with less depth for character statistics and a greater emphasis on story and player choice.
2. Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator
   A grim simulation game taking the players throughout the Chernobyl disaster, from the beginning of the incident as a firefighter to a military volunteer. The game has lots of side content and information to provide the player with insight as to what happened leading up too and after the disaster.
